Adobo Chicken (Victoria Family Recipe’s)
Mom's Kitchen (Phillippines)
One Whole Chicken or Beef or Pork (cut up any way you want)
Note: You can also just cook all legs or cook all wings.
Ingredients:
½ cup Vinegar
½ cup Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Garlic powder or 10 cloves of fresh garlic
1 or 2 inches fresh ginger root shredded (or just cut it thin slices)
½ tsp. black pepper
½ tsp. basil
½ tsp paprika
2 tsp. olive oil
Large Pot: Mix all ingredients together cook it and bring to boil for about 10 minutes and then, simmer down medium heat. Let it cook one hour until the chicken, or beef, or pork tender.
After one hour….
ADD….Vegetables (cut it anyway you want) Cook it until tender (maybe 5 to ten minutes)
1 Onion, 1 green pepper, 2 red peppers.
Serve it with Steam Rice
